WALESKA, Ga. – (Live Stats | Video) The seventh-ranked Eagles are back at Ken White Field at University Stadium tomorrow afternoon when they welcome the Tigers of Campbellsville (Ky.) in a non-conference kickoff at Noon.
Reinhardt (1-1) looks to keep the momentum rolling after a dominant performance last week against Mid-South Conference Sun Division foe Warner (Fla.), 45-0, in front of a packed house.
Devyn Collins scored four touchdowns and set a new program record with 208 yards on 22 carries against the Royals – breaking the 175-yard record that was held by two players (Terry Berdin in 2018 versus Union (Ky.) and L.J. Stegall in 2014 against Cumberlands (Ky.)).
The Tigers will look to rebound from their home opener against the Union (Ky.) Bulldogs where they were defeated, 33-18. Running back D'Anta Sipp will strive to break 100 yards once again after he averaged 7.6 yards per carry, recorded a touchdown and ran for 129 yards against Union.
Conversely, the Bulldogs were able to gain 332 yards on the ground against Campbellsville in their win. Reinhardt ran for 319 yards against Warner.
The Eagles lead the all-time series with the Tigers, 3-2. Most recently, Reinhardt traveled to Kentucky and came away victorious, 28-0, back on Sept. 14, 2019.
The hometown team is 1-1 all-time in Waleska against Campbellsville.
