Schratwieser Kicks His Way to Special Teams Award as Squad Moves to No. 6

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Reid Schratwieser has been named the Mid-South Conference (MSC) Appalachian Special Teams Player of the Week after the freshman kicker went 7-for-7 on PATs and made a 23-yard field goal in the win last Saturday over Campbellsville (Ky.).

MSC Appalachian Special Teams Player of the Week
Reid Schratwieser – Fr. – K – Atlanta, Ga.
- Schratwieser connected on all seven of his point-after attempts in a victory against Campbellsville (Ky.)
- The freshman also made a 23-yard field goal versus the Tigers, his second 3-pointer of the season
- This marks Schratwieser's first career MSC weekly honor and first this season

Additionally, the Eagles were bumped up on Monday one more spot in the latest edition of the NAIA Football FirstDown PlayBook Top 25 Poll to No. 6, the NAIA national office revealed.
The hometown squad (2-1) pulled in 352 votes after taking down Campbellsville (Ky.), 52-7, last week at home.
