Eagles Overpower Rio Grande in Resounding Victory; Win Streak Extended to 4-0 in the AAC!

Jackson, Ohio- In a dominating display, the Eagles soared to a flawless victory against the Rio Grande Red Storm. Eagles dominate from the outset, leading to a decisive final score of 56-0 in favor of Reinhardt.
By halftime, the Eagles had already set the tone of the game with a staggering lead of 35-0. The standout moment came early with Tyress McKey's electrifying 89-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, sparking the Eagles' offensive onslaught!
Throughout the game, multiple players made significant contributions to the scoreboard. The Eagles were exceptional on the ground with 476 yards rushing! Tyress McKey continued his exceptional performance with 124 total return yards, and Jah Colbert made a substantial impact with 157 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Additional scoring efforts were led by Jordan Ghant, Jamarion Walker, Braden Bohannon, and Christopher Barnes, each adding a touchdown to the tally. Taylor Jackson threw a touchdown to Jordan Ghant. McKey also added another rushing touchdown to the tally.
The defensive unit was equally impenetrable, with Nolan Marshall totaling 8 tackles and Emmanuel Olaitan achieving 4 tackles, including 2 sacks. The Eagles had a field day in the Storm backfield, having 8 sacks, including Adam Mweemba, Dan'Quavious Cummings, Darren McKenzie, Bryce Parrish, Aidan Scott, and Damian Deloney!
Looking ahead, the Eagles, now with a record of 5-3 overall and 4-0 in the ACC, are set to face Point University Skyhawks next Saturday! The impressive win against Rio Grande has undoubtedly set a high morale as the Eagles aim to continue their winning streak in the upcoming conference game.
