Zac Lyle Named Associated Press All-American!
New York City, NY - The Associated Press (AP) released the 2025 NAIA All-Americans on Friday, December 19th, the day before the NAIA Football Championship was held. The AP selected a two-team, offensive and defensive, comprised of the best players in the country at the NAIA level.
Reinhardt University's own, Zac Lyle, was selected to the AP All-American Second Team Offense as an offensive lineman. The senior tackle from Warner Robins, Georgia, has been an anchor for Coach James Miller's offensive line the past few seasons.
Lyle is a 6-5, 290-pound lineman who came to the Eagles from Houston County High School. He has been a consistent performer for Reinhardt in his four years as an Eagle. He helped fellow senior running back Jah Colbert gain over 1,200 yards this season and protected quarterback Taylor Jackson for the past three seasons.
After the Eagles' playoff game at Southeastern University in late November, Lyle received the Champions of Character Award from the NAIA. Before this, he was also honored as an Appalachian Athletic Conference All-Conference spot on the first team offense.
Congratulations, Zac Lyle, on a terrific career at Reinhardt University, both on and off the field. You were a true leader in your time on the campus in Waleska!
