Head Coach John Snow Steps Down
By Mike DeVader, Reinhardt Director of Athletic Communications & Media
WALESKA, Ga. – Reinhardt's four-time defending national champion and three-time NAIA Men's Lacrosse Coach of the Year John Snow has resigned from his post atop the NAIA's most dominant program in history.
Snow accumulated a career mark of 133-31 in nine-plus seasons (3-0 record in 2020 before play was canceled due to COVID-19) and was fresh off helping the Eagles finish 2021 a perfect 17-0 for the first time as a team.
Back on May 8, the nation's top club dismantled No. 2 Indiana Tech in the 2021 NAIA Men's Lacrosse National Invitational Final, 17-8, to claim its fourth-consecutive NAIA red banner and bring it back to Waleska.
"When I look back to 2011 when I first started with only 14 kids on the roster and how we developed over the years into what we eventually became… I'm very, very proud," Snow said. "I've had a chance to coach so many outstanding young men who gave me everything they had every single day. We built something together as a team – as a family – and we built a dynasty.
"I am very, very proud and I love Reinhardt!"
Under Snow's guidance, Reinhardt won championships in three different states, and claimed 36-straight victories dating back to early 2019.
Reinhardt will launch a national search for the next leader of the men's lacrosse program in the near future.
