Mendoza Captures Men's Tennis Player of the Week Nod

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Martin Mendoza of Reinhardt is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the fifth edition of the weekly honors for the 2021 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 12. 

AAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week
Martin Mendoza - Sr. - Tucuman, Argentina

• Helped Reinhardt defeat then-No. 15 Point 7-0 on the road.
• Won at No. 1 doubles 6-5.
• Won at No. 1 singles 6-3, 7-5.
• This is his first weekly honor this season.

Week 2 - Nicolas Lopez, Montreat
Week 3 - Joe Klokow, Point
Week 4 - Mark Kuhnel, Union

Tennessee Wesleyan is up next on the 2021 campaign in a Noon matchup on April 6.
