Reinhardt Track and Field Finish Second at AAC Championships; Eight Crowned Conference Champs
Johnson City, TN - Reinhardt Track and Field competed this past weekend at the 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) with outstanding success both individually and as a program. The Men's Team finished in 2nd Place behind Milligan, and the Women's Team came in eighth. The Women's Team scored the most points ever at a conference meet with 62 points.
Top honors go to the following, who were crowned as AAC Champions in their respective events:
- Marquia White: Discus (AAX Record)
- Abbi Cruz: Javelin
- Caleb Cottrell, JT Neal, Prince Derring, Hayden Reyes: 4x100m
- Andrew Paolozzi: Hammer Throw
- Ethan Rice: Javelin
The 4x100 meter team of Cottrell, Neal, Derring, and Reyes will be joining teammate Andrew Paolozzi as representatives of Reinhardt Track and Field at the NAIA Nationals in May 2025.
The following were named AAC All-Conference for placing either second or third in their events:
- Samantha Cramer: High Jump 2nd Place
- Prince Derring: 100m 3rd Place
- Tom Vincent: 3k Steeple 2nd Place
- Ben Pearce: 3k Steeple 3rd Place
- Nekhi Fisher: High Jump 2nd Place
- Brayden Ingraham: Long Jump 3rd Place
- David Sayles: Shot Put 3rd Place
New school records have been falling all season long, and this was no exception at the AAC Championships. In total, ten new Reinhardt Track and Field records were set. This has been a trend the past couple of years as the program continues to rise up the rankings.

The team still has three more meets over the next few weekends for additional athletes to qualify for the NAIA Nationals. The Outdoor Music City Challenge is May 2nd and 3rd in Nashville, Tennessee. The next one is the Emory Qualifier on May 7th in Atlanta, and then the finale at Lee University's Last Chance Meet on May 10th. The NAIA Nationals will be May 21st - 23rd in Marion, Indiana on the campus of Indiana Tech University. The past two NAIA Nationals have been held at Indiana Tech, which is a top-notch track facility and housing for all the athletes.
