Thoughts from Coach B:
"In victory or loss, all the Honor and Glory goes to God! Today was different than last night and I'm very thankful to be a part of it. You had two teams just battling and honoring the game, their opponent, and themselves! As most people know, I was the head coach for Webber for 6 years before coming to RU for their Women's team. I've always kept an eye on the program there as I invested so much into it. I can't compliment the new coach enough and the players as he has brought a culture that has truly changed things in such a positive direction.
I'm only in my second season taking over as the head coach of the MVB program here at RU and today was a huge match for our guys. Both teams kept coming back from deficits throughout and I was very proud and impressed with how our team was able to hang on after giving up a huge lead in the 4th to close out. Then we went up 14-11 in the 5thand Webber closed to 14-13. It showed a lot of character and togetherness to be able to hang on and close out.
"Good hard fought battle by both teams and I want to say thank you to our RU fans that came out on a Saturday to support us!"
