Eagles Excel at Life Open

Marietta, Ga.- This past weekend the Reinhardt Eagles drove down to Life University to put their efforts to the test against more tough teams. The Eagles flew in, and took charge of their matches.
Reinhardt came out and showed that their hard work is paying off on the mats. In the open division seven wrestlers placed including,
- Koby Milner 125lbs 3rd
- Cole Luallen 149lbs 2nd
- Avry Mutschler 149lbs 5th
- Aushaud Evans 157lbs 5th
- Matt Jenkins 165lbs 2nd
- Cole Tenety 174lbs 3rd
- Nic Jarvis 285lbs 3rd
The Eagles did not stop there as they showed that the future is bright for this wrestling program with multiple high placements in the freshman and sophomore division including,
- Angel Banda 125lbs 2nd
- Devin Griffen 149lbs 1st
- Tanner Hill 165lbs 3rd
- Sam Irwin 197lbs 3rd
- Kyle McGill 197lbs 5th
What an outstanding day for the Reinhardt Eagles, as they had some notable wins this past weekend.
Elijah Griffen beat a returning national champ and a #1 ranked Wrestler at 149lbs 3-2
Trevor Burdick at 157lbs beat a 2X national finalist and #3 ranked wrestler 8-5
You do not want to miss these Reinhardt Wrestlers as they will wrestle at home on December 16, 2021, at 2:00 and 3:00 pm against the Cumberland's and Life University.
