Eagles WIN Over Brenau 79-61, Going 2-0 This Season

Waleska, GA- The Reinhardt Eagle women's basketball team won its home-opener in a conference match-up versus the Brenau Golden Tigers 79-61 on Saturday, November 6^th. The Eagles had 3 different players scoring in the double-digits and out scored the Golden Tigers in every quarter of the game. The Eagles scored 40 points in the first half to lead 40-32 at the break. Reinhardt kept its momentum, scoring 39 points in the second half. The Eagles start their season off 2-0 in the AAC, while Brenau is now 0-1 in the AAC.

Outstanding Performers:

• Avanna Preston led the Eagle offense with 18 points, following her was Ashley Woodroffe with 15 points. Preston also had 9 rebounds and 2 steals in tonight's game as well. 
• Maria Sanchez Ponce managed to have the team-high in rebounds with 11.
