The Eagles Overcame Brenau Tigers in Last Away Game of Season 72-64
Gainesville, GA – The Reinhardt women's basketball team traveled to Brenau University to play the Tigers on Thursday, February 9th. After the score being just 10-6 after the first quarter, the Eagles went on a 13-0 run at the beginning of the 2nd resulting in a half-time score of 29- 14. Brenau chose to fight back with an electrifying 3rd quarter, scoring 26 points which close the gap of the Eagle spread. Reinhardt had 24 points in the final quarter ultimately clenching this AAC win 72-64. This was a much needed win for Reinhardt as they were on a 5-game losing streak. The Eagles had 3 different players with the squad-high of point with 14. This includes Summer Cramer, Ashley Woodroffe, and Maria Sanchez Ponce. With just one more regular-season AAC game left to play, the Eagles look to end thr season strong before heading into the AAC Tournament. The Eagles are now sitting in 4th in the conference with a 16-7 record.

- Avanna Preston, Tarrah Gibson, and Ponce each had 7 rebounds.
