Reinhardt Continues to Make Strides on the Course

COHUTTA, Ga. – (Results) Women's golf traveled to Nob North Golf Course and hit the links in the Roadrunner Invite for 54 holes of competition hosted by Dalton State (Ga.) on Monday and Tuesday.
Lauren Welte set a new record with her 242 cumulative total (80, 85, 77) as she paced the Eagles with a 26th-place finish with an overall plus-26 as well.
The hometown team finished in ninth at the event.
Not far back was Katie Kauffman with a T31 after moving up three positions on the leaderboard on day two. Rounding out the top five was Meg McCord (T40), followed by Brooke Newsome (49th) and Debbie Blount (T50) – who both slid up two spots in the final round.
The final regular-season tournament – the AAC National Qualifier – is on deck on April 26.
