Swannanoa, NC. - As the AAC regular-season is coming to an end, the Reinhardt University Eagles women's team clinched a decisive victory against the Montreat College Cavaliers tonight. The match, held in Swannanoa, N.C., ended with the Eagles winning 3 sets to 1.
The Eagles dominated the first two sets with overwhelming scores of 25-6 and 25-7, showcasing their offensive and defensive prowess. Despite a setback in the third set where they fell 23-25, the Eagles rallied back fiercely to close the match with a strong 25-11 win in the fourth set.
Key players for Reinhardt included Breah Watson and Juliette Baffico, who both secured 10 kills each. Watson also notably contributed with an impressive 7 blocks. Juliette Baffico performed exceptionally as a versatile player, leading the team with 15 digs and topping the charts with 5 aces. Ashlynn Barnes facilitated the playmaking with a high of 24 assists and added 3 aces, enhancing the team's scoring opportunities.
