Baseball team concludes 2011 regular season with rescheduled conference games at Bluefield on Sunday

WALESKA, Ga. -- On Sunday, the Reinhardt University baseball team concludes its 2011 regular season on the road in Appalachian Athletic Conference play against the Bluefield College Ramblin' Rams. At 2 p.m., the clubs will complete a suspended game (due to rain) from Monday, April 4 that was tied at 5-5 heading to the top of the seventh inning. After that game, the conference foes square off in a nine-inning contest.
Reinhardt is 16-32-1 overall and 8-11-1 in the AAC (seventh place) while Bluefield is 23-23-1 overall, including 9-10-1 in conference play (fourth). With two wins on Sunday, the Eagles would move into a tie for third place in the conference standings and be the No. 3 seed at the AAC Championship tournament that starts on Tuesday in Kingsport, Tenn.
