Arther signs to attend Reinhardt, play baseball for Eagles
Arther, the son of Shane and Sandy Arther, earned varsity letters the past two seasons while leading Kennesaw Mountain to the state playoffs. Playing in one of the top Class AAAAA programs in the state, the Mustangs have qualified for the state playoffs several times and won three region championships since the school opened in 2001. A versatile player, Arther started at third base as a senior after playing the outfield and pitching in 2010.
"I've heard that it's a good school and the campus is nice," Arther said of Reinhardt. "I've heard from a lot of people that they really liked it and that it's a place where you can come to improve academically and in sports."
Arther chose the Eagles over East Georgia College.
