Reinhardt Christens New Spirit Program
July 29, 2016
Letter from Coach Tillman
With the incorporation of the mascots for Reinhardt University under the Athletics banner, the Reinhardt University Department of Athletics is rebranding its cheerleading program as the Reinhardt University Spirit Program.
"We feel that the Spirit Program moniker better reflects what we are doing currently with this program," said RU Director of Athletics Bill Popp. "I have faith in coach Bryan Tillman to help grow this program even more in the future."
"Reinhardt's spirit program is a huge element to the game day experience," coach Tillman said. "We support our athletes greatly. The cheerleaders and mascots cheer for football, home men's and women's basketball games and participate in community events. The cheerleaders compete at NCA College Nationals held around the second week in April."
More information on the new Spirit Program can be found in a letter from Coach Tillman.
