Single-Game Tickets for Home Opener Now Online
WALESKA, Ga. - Tickets for Reinhardt football's 2015 home opener against Kentucky Christian are now available online via ReinhardtEagles.com/f/tickets.
The Eagles will enter the contest 1-0 after a 73-21 victory over Point last Saturday in Valley, Ala. RU set a program record for scoring, touchdowns in a game, and points by a kicker in the contest. Defensively, the Eagles set a team record for turnovers in a game, forcing six (four interceptions, two fumbles) with one of the fumbles recovered for a touchdown.
Reinhardt and Kentucky Christian have built a great cross-division rivalry in the Mid-South Conference over the past two seasons. Reinhardt picked up the program's first win in 2013 with a 19-14 win on the road thanks to an L.J. Stegall touchdown in the final minute. The next season, KCU exacted a measure of revenge with a 31-21 victory over the Eagles.
While there has been a change for Reinhardt in the head coaching ranks, with Drew Cronic taking over this season, there was also a change between RU's coaching staff and KCU's. Last year, Greg Blue was the defensive coordinator for KCU. This year, Blue has returned back to Georgia to coach RU's safeties.
General admission tickets for the game are currently available for sale online for $10, with cost increasing to $15 on the day of the game. In addition, a limited number of reserved seats are available for $20.
