Teon Burroughs Lived in the Faulkner (Ala.) Backfield, Collects DPOW

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Teon Burroughs was a force along the defensive line for the Eagles in a 34-10 rout of Faulkner (Ala.) in the Reinhardt home opener last Saturday.
The senior recorded five tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery in the win – which was good enough for the Folkston, Ga., native to be selected as the Mid-South Conference (MSC) Appalachian Division Defensive Football Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

- Burroughs led the Eagles' defensive front in the 34-10 victory over Faulkner (Ala.).
- He notched a total of five tackles, two sacks, and a fumble recovery in the win.
- Burroughs gathered the second MSC weekly honor of his career.
