Lowery Named DPOW, Team Steady at No. 9 in NAIA

BOWLING GREEN, Ky./KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-South Conference (MSC) announced the Appalachian Division Football Players of the Week earlier today, and Kenneth Lowery – who made 10 stops against Kentucky Christian – earned Defensive Player of the Week.

MSC Appalachian Defensive Player of the Week
Kenneth Lowery – Jr. – LB – Lawrenceville, Ga.
- Lowery led the Eagles' defensive efforts in the 42-14 win over Kentucky Christian.
- He gathered a total of 10 tackles and a sack for a seven-yard loss in the win.
- This is the first MSC weekly honor of the season for Lowery and the first of his career
Additionally on Monday, the NAIA published its fourth edition of the NAIA Football FirstDown Playbook Top 25 Poll, and Reinhardt (8-0) stayed put at No. 9 in the country.
The hometown squad, who is coming off its fifth-consecutive Appalachian Division title within the MSC following a 42-14 win on Senior Day against Kentucky Christian, was given 292 votes in the rating.
