Football to Host Marian (Ind.) Saturday in NAIA FCS First Round

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – (NAIA FCS Selection Show) Postseason NAIA football is coming back to Ken White Field at University Stadium on Saturday, as the Eagles earned the final host bid in the NAIA Football Championship Series (FCS) First Round against Marian (Ind.).
Game time is yet to be determined.
The Eagles (8-0) – the five-time defending Appalachian Division champions within the Mid-South Conference (MSC) – were moved up to No. 8 in the final NAIA Football FirstDown PlayBook Top 25 Poll that was announced on Sunday as well.

The hometown team will be facing the Knights, who were slotted No. 9 in the national rankings, for the second-consecutive time in the FCS First Round. Marian comes into the matchup – this time in Waleska – with a 5-1 mark and is the 2019 NAIA national runner-up.
Reinhardt was the NAIA national runner-up in 2017.
