Dayton, TN – Reinhardt looked to add a conference win under their belt, but the Lions of Bryan College took the AAC match-up 78-67.
The Eagles took a slow start, down 2-9 at the 14:54 minute mark. With the help from Lion fouls and great Eagle ball movement, the visiting team creeped up on the Lions 10-14 to make it a close game. This would set the standard for the remaining of the first half as the Eagles and Lions battled for the lead before the end of the first half.
Jamison Syphore led the Eagle board with 8-points and 3 rebounds with Keyshaun Street adding 6 points as the Eagles and Lions tied 33-33 at half-time.
At the start of the second half, the Lions took the Lead from the Eagles to make the score 45-39. With continuous effort, the Eagles looked to make it a close game, but unforced turnovers at the most pivotal moments, keep the Lions in the lead. The Lions shot 57% at the 3-point line to Reinhardt's 21% to outscore the visiting team 45-34. This put Reinhardt with another loss on the road.
