NAIA Selects Matt Webb as Defensive Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) national office announced today that Matt Webb of Reinhardt is the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts on the field from March 2-8.

Webb, who was also the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, was nearly a brick wall down in Florida in between the pipes for No. 1 Reinhardt, as the junior made a total of 23 saves in two victories over No. 5 Keiser (Fla.) (11-8) and No. 3 Lawrence Tech (14-5).
