Eagles Get 10 in Route of the Rams

Waleska, GA - The Reinhardt Men's Soccer Team was back in action on Saturday afternoon after coming off a big win against NCAA DIII opponent, Piedmont University during the week. The Eagles hosted AAC opponent, Bluefield College which was the first conference game for both teams. The scoring came quick and plentiful for the Eagles as they would score in the very first minute of the game and would not stop until they had put 10 goals on the board.

Game Notes:
Reinhardt gets their record to 2-2 and 1-0 in the AAC with the victory over Bluefield. Bluefield drops to 0-1 in the AAC and 2-2 overall.

Game Summary:
The Eagles were able to score six goals in the first half and four goals in the second half. They dominated the Rams in possession and controlled the game from start to finish. The ball work for the Eagles was tremendous and the unselfish play led to many goals on a weary Rams defense. The Eagles connected passes which had the Rams ball-watching and gave some easy opportunities.

Aramis Rohner led all scorers with a hat trick (3 goals). Rohner had one in the opening minute of the game and his other two would come in the second half. Maxime Correia and  Pavel Dashin both had two goals each and Nathan Seery, Anthony Robledo, and Rafael Pais each had a single goal totaling the ten-goal eruption by the Eagles' offense.

The backline did a great job of holding off the attack by the Rams which mainly came in the second half of play. They did not have a lot of chances against the Eagles' Goalkeepers, Niko Tzevelekos and Elijah Clark. Tzevelekos ended up as the game-winner which is his second of the season. Tzevelekos had 3 saves in goal and played approximately 55 minutes. Clark was able to get in the final 35 minutes and was able to get one save in goal.
