Mid-South Conference Announces Men's Volleyball Players Of The Week

Bowling Green, Ky. – Midway's (Ky.) Franzo Severre and Daniel Cogo and Reinhardt's (Ga.) Ricardo Mujica  are the Mid-South Conference Men's Volleyball Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

MSC Men's Volleyball Defender of the Week

Ricardo Mujica  – Reinhardt (Ga.) – So. – Setter – San Juan, Puerto Rico

• Mujica totaled 27 digs and averaged 3.4 digs per set in a pair of matches.
• He recorded five digs in a sweep against Warner.
• Mujica then had 22 digs in a five-set loss to Webber International.
• He earns his first weekly honor of the season and in his career

MSC Men's Volleyball Attacker of the Week

Franzo Severre – Midway (Ky.) – So. – Opposite Hitter – St. Thomas, Virgin Islands

• Severre totaled 34 kills and hit .472 in three Midway victories.
• He totaled seven kills in the Eagles' sweep of Rio Grande (Ohio).
• Severre then posted 13 kills in Midway's 3-0 victory against Milligan (Tenn.).
• He closed out the week with 14 kills in a sweep over the Tennessee Club Team.
• Severre earns weekly honors for the first time this season and in his career..

MSC Men's Volleyball Setter of the Week

Daniel Cogo  – Midway (Ky.) – So. – Setter – Padua, Italy

• Cogo totaled 82 assists for an average of 9.1 assists per set in three Midway wins.
• He totaled 21 assists in the Eagles' sweep of Rio Grande
• Cogo then had 29 assists in Midway's 3-0 victory against Milligan
• He finished the week with 32 assists in a sweep over the Tennessee Club Team.
• Cogo earns weekly honors for the first time this season and in his career.
