Eagles Come Up Short in Battle of NAIA Top 10 Teams

Marietta, GA - #10 ranked Eagles Wrestling was on the road for a weeknight dual with #2 ranked Life University. The Eagles were able to beat Life the previous year at Reinhardt in a very competitive dual, but this year the Eagles came up short in another competitive matchup.

Life outscored the Eagles 26-14, but almost every match was a tight contest. Cole Luallen, Trevor Burdick, and Matt Jenkins were all able to come away with wins on Thursday evening.

The matchups were a good test of where the Eagles' wrestlers stand as the AAC Championships come up in a few weeks and then the NAIA Nationals.
